Mato Homola: "I want to be a Champion of Europe.“

One of the most talented race drivers from Slovakia, Mato Homola, wants to become a Champion of Europe in 2015 season.

"After 2 Vice Champion in a row, it is logical to have high goals! I'm ready and prepared," said Mato Homola.

The big news for 2015 is a change of car brand. The racing series are the same, Mato will race in again FIA ETCC, but this time in SMT (single make trophy) category. The first race will be during the first weekend in May at Hungaroring

The biggest news in team Homola Motorsport is brand new SEAT Leon Cup Racer.

"SEAT is extremely quick and dynamic car and I really love the design. We have approached SEAT Slovakia and we have agreed on an interesting sponsorship! I became an official Ambassador for SEAT in Slovakia, which I'm very excited about," said Mato Homola.

"We were watching Mato for a long time and as we 'do a business' in the same industry, we couldn't miss his results and progress. We want to help him with his progress and together we want to bring a European Championship title to Slovakia. Everything happened quickly as we believe it is a great opportunity for us," said Matej Machacek, general manager or SEAT Slovakia.

Jaro Homola, Team Manager of Homola Motorsport explained a situation about WTCC: "In Autumn and Winter 2014, we have really worked hard to get Mato to WTCC. We spoke with Citroen Racing, Sebastian Loeb Racing Team and Campos Racing. Although all of them wanted Mato to join their teams, we were not able to get the necessary budget in only 2 months. But never mind, SEAT is a great opportunity and Mato might also try TCR or EuroCup events in 2015. Moreover, Mato is still very young race driver, so he has time."
