Mato after qualifying: "Hello Slovakia! In qualifying session at SPA I've finished on great second place with lap time 2:34.741, which was so far my best lap time here at Spa. I did 5 fast laps and the last one was the fastest. I tried to push more, but that lead only to a few mistakes.

Tomorrow we start from the first row, and I believe it will be a win race for us. I'm so excited. In the morning we start with warm-up and later on at 4:05 PM we have 2 races. Keep the fingers crossed!"

Flash news n.1 - FIA ETCC - Spa-Francorchamps - 20.06.2014

Mato: "Today we had 2 test sessions at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps Race Circuit in Belgium. In 1st testing I just wanted to familiarise myself with the track and was trying to find ideal race line. The track is amazing, especially corners like Eau Rouge, Blanchimont, Pouhon are breath-taking.

For the 2nd test session, guys in our team made me better car set-up so I have tried to push harder to get a better lap-time. The car worked a lot better and I felt more comfortable driving on this track. On the other hand there are a few places I can get better.

In both test sessions I have finished on 3rd place behind 2 super-fast Chevrolets, but I won't give up. Tomorrow morning we have a free practice. Come on!"
