Mato after the dramatic qualifying: "Due to the time delays during the day, our qualifying session started with 45 min delay. Sunset at Sicily especially influenced the progress of this session. As the sun was actually shining right in drivers eyes, in some important and dangerous parts of the circuit, so right in 2nd lap there were 2 major accidents, which led to red flag and delays again.
I have managed to get away from those accidents as we had a different qualifying strategy – I have delayed my start, so red flag was shown while I was in my warm-up lap.
Cleaning the track and some repairs of the safety fence delayed the qualifying, what actually helped drivers, as the sun set down behind the hills.
In Qualifying, I have immediately managed to get to 2nd place from 23 race drivers on grid. Then I came back to pits, where I got a new set of tyres and 2 minutes before the race end got to Position 1.
My rival, Nikola Karamyshev, was able to overtake me with a lap time 0.15 sec faster than me. Basically tomorrow we start from the front of the grid, so our fans from Slovakia or elsewhere can see us LIVE on Eurosport 1, with the Slovak flag.
Keep the fingers crossed – it is important day tomorrow – race for Championship title in FIA ETCC 2014.

Mato after free practice: "It was dramatic! There were like 3 times red flags, due to some crashes and broken cars on the track. It was kinda impossible to do a good laptime between the red flags. Never mind, I'm ready for the qualifying at 5:00 PM, and I will do my best to fight for pole position. Keep the fingers crossed so Slovakia is starting the race tomorrow from 1st place ☺

Mato after the first testing: "It is sunny over here, around 23 degrees. The race tract is extremely dirty as the circuit around lake Pergusa is not a permanent race circuit. We knew that the track will be dirty so we used older tyres. In each lap I was getting better and better, but it will take some time to clear the track, what will help me to do a better laptime. At the moment, mechanics in the team are tweaking the setup in order to have a better grip when exiting the curves.
Next testing is at 11:25 AM. Fingers crossed and thanks for your support."

Mato: "Good morning from Sicilian race circuit Enna-Pergusa! Today we have quite a busy day as we have scheduled 2 tastings, 1 practice and qualifying in the evening. I'm very excited to race here, last year I won, so I have really positive memories about that. Right now we are warming up the car, I had a quick breakfast and in a while we start with 1st testing.
